Stock Farm and Accommodation Facilities

This resort plan was conceived together with the owner of a stock farm located midway between Ichinoseki and Kesennuma. The farm, which rears cattle, horses and pigs, is located in a picturesque location amidst mountains, and the project started from building a treehouse in a nearby large tree. It was also planned to build accommodation facilities and a restaurant in a location facing the stock farm across a ravine. Since the area is spacious enough to cultivate rice paddies and fields, in the future, the accommodation facilities could be used as leisure homes for city dwellers or homes for people hoping to move into the area. With the stock farm located nearby, this is an attractive environment that would allow city dwellers to experience farming and food production. This hasn’t materialized yet, however, we continue to share the dream with the owner.
